Dark Kingdom

I decided I had to get out of here. I walked through the busted hole in the wall that had once been a glass door. Every single piece of land around me was filled with trees and bushes and plants. Nothing was making sense to me and I was terrified to say the least. I always read books and watched tv shows where this sort of thing happened, but I never imagined it would be something that would happen to me. I mean, I live in New York City, the place made of concrete and the city that never sleeps. Nothing out of a book or fairytale ever happens here. Until today I guess.
I had no idea what to do or where to go. I didn't have my phone anymore so I sure as hell couldn't call anyone. I didn't have my computer so I couldn't just hop on the internet. This felt too real to be a dream. I reached down and touched the grass to make sure it was real and as the blades touched my fingertips I started to freak out even more. Clouds lingered in the sky as the sunlight no longer bled through. I need to find a way to get back, I thought to myself.
