The story of the Overlord vs. the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master has been passed down for generations, but few people still believe in the legend of good against evil. Unbeknownst to them, across the ocean awaits the Overlord, plotting his revenge hundreds of years in the making. Years before Destiny began to put the final battle into action, the Overlord finally gathered enough strength to make himself a new body, defying Destiny for the first time in all of creation.

He didn't count on creating a life that took root inside it.

Stuck with a son he never wanted and scared of powers he's never seen, the Overlord locked his creation in darkness. But when his concentration slips for a mere second due to the arrival of the Ninja, the Heir finds himself escaping his prison and making his way to the edge of the island, desperate to escape. Instead, he finds himself fighting the Ninja until his father's Stone Warriors crash the party and force Avashiro and the ninja to work together.

After a disaster of an escape and revealing his heritage, the Ninja reluctantly accept Avashiro into their lives, suspicious but supportive of his hatred toward his father. With enemies on all sides and a legacy that weighs him down more than he can explain, Avashiro's journey leads him to the discovery that, above all else, who you chose to be is the most crucial choice you can make.
