He chuckled softly, a warm smile playing on his lips. "You're really a little devil, you know that?"

I grinned back as I jokingly pushed him and smiled ."Only for you."

"But I'm your sister's best friend," he teased, a hint of challenge in his tone.

"I know, You old . " I mocking said as I tried  to hide the smile playing on my lips.

"But that doesn't change a thing that I feel," he replied, determination shining in his hazel eyes.

"Age gap or gender, this bond we share is undeniable." he replied, stepping closer as our faces draw nearer. "

I bit my lip, uncertainty clouding all over my face "But what if someone finds out?"

He gently brushed his hand against my cheek, a comforting gesture. "Then we'll face it together. Because love knows no bounds, not even societal norms."
