In a world where luck is everything, people were born with a certain amount of luck. The course of the world was controlled by the Infey race, whose job was protecting the luck's source.

At least that is how it's written in the history of 200 years ago. One day, for unknown reasons, the source of luck was disrupted and the united nation broke into three. People with limited luck, those with almost no luck, and those with almost unlimited luck. The Infey race disappeared.

Since the people without luck had to take it from someone else, an agreement was made to exchange inhabitants between the countries.

The story revolves around the third prince, Nielle, a sadist without luck, who gets a new lucky servant, Shane, whose pride doesn't allow him to surrender to the prince's methods.

Their paths cross with an Infey, a prisoner who has escaped from his country, and his guard, whose mission is to bring him back.

This story contains BL, sex scenes between men, rape, violence and much more, which may not be suitable for everyone. I apologise for the mistakes as English is not my native language. I hope you enjoy the story.

After her father dies and renders them all penniless, Fyran goes in search of this creature to take revenge-and the huge bounty on its head issued by the King of Sufta. Perhaps she will be successful and they'll no longer have to grovel as the poorest of the poor, and at the very least she'll acquire justice for the murder of her father, the only father she's ever had. But there is an old and forgotten prophecy as old as time fast approaching on the horizon. Nobody can stop it, fate is a force that can't be reckoned with, and everything that ever has and will ever happen to every citizen has already been foretold in their scrolls. The fate of Sufta is uncertain, and powerful forces are at play, but who has enough discernment to understand a long forgotten prophecy that's been dismissed by generations?

Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. A world where magic once long ago filled the air, and was felt within everything, until humanity explored it's potential for power, destruction, and war. And with it came the true nature of it: Chaos, the source of magic. It nearly ripped apart creation, and thus, some legendary hero took sealed it away to protect the creation from destruction- Adaygue, Great Mother to everyone. She became the deity to protect magic, and her followers called herself "Children of Adaygue". 3135 years later, after countless of wars, magic flickers and loses its meaning. But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
