13 year old foster kid, Max Allen has been alone for 49 days since the apocalypse got bad. Refusing to leave her house out of fear for her own life she's remained isolated. Lonely, one day she begins to write something of a diary. Until on that very same day she's forced out of her house by raiders in her town. Terrified, Max escapes into the forest. She runs surprisingly fast seeing as she has little to no athletic ability... After fleeing Max isn't alone for long... What's gonna happen?!
