For centuries colonizing powers have looted and pillaged sacred burial sites, stealing important cultural artifacts, and refusing to return them to their rightful owners.
We steal them back.
Or prevent the theft to begin with, but eh, we're not all that good at what we do.
Of course that's incredibly dangerous, not only the time travel part, but the reverse tomb raiding part, and the stealing part. That's why Minerva's Army operates in complete secret.
So to be perfectly clear, none of this happened.
