Since he was a child, Phoenix Wright was to become a defense attorney, protecting the innocent when no one else would. However, when the rookie lawyer finally takes on his first case under the guidance of his mentor Mia Fay, he realizes that the courtroom is a battlefield. In these fast paced trials, Phoenix is forced to think outside of the box to uncover the truth of the crimes that have taken place in order to prove the innocence of his clients. Follow Phoenix and his fellow lawyer, Helena" Ellie" Smith, who is on the autism spectrum, but despite her disability, she is incredibly analytical and has an IQ of 130 and graduated from Harvard with multiple diplomas in every subject you could think of. As they face cases to absolve the falsely accused. But, it will not be easy, standing in their path is the ruthless Miles Edgeworth, a prosecutor who will stop at nothing to hand down the guilty verdict. With their backs against the wall, the defense attorneys must carefully examine both evidence and witness testimony, sifting through lies to solve the mystery behind the case and perhaps... romance along the way?
