"What do you mean you don't want this anymore? We made a deal!" I said as I was making my way down the stairs, Tom closely following behind me. We were now in the kitchen facing each other not saying a word.
"I can't live like this Scarlett! ...You're too much for me." Tom said making shivers run down my spine. Trying to not let him see what only his voice can do to me I turn my back to him now facing the kitchen island. After steadying my breath I turn again towards him, but now he was closer, only about 3 feet between us. "I'm too much for you...? Is that supposed to make me feel better about you fake dumping me? "What I meant to say, is that you are so tempting that I just can't resist you. Even if you make the smallest move, exhale the smallest breath, take the smallest step or give me the smallest glare... it remains printed in my mind. You are running through my mind day and night and believe me... it is driving me absolutely mad." He said it all so quickly but also so slowly that I could not process it.
