Riona Willow has known darkness and refuses to ever be helpless again.

When this modern day warrior woman lands in 12th century Scotland, things are bound to go awry. But with her delinquent brother and oblivious twin sister in tow, Ri will have a tough enough time finding a way home, let alone keeping them alive long enough to make the journey.

Shaw Logan has faced great adversity and works to protect his people and their lands.

When a strange, otherworldly beauty saves his life, nearly dying in the process, Shaw is determined to discover what could make such a bonnie lass learn to fight with the grace of an angel and the deadly force of the most skilled warrior. Her younger siblings are driving him crazy with their bickering and antics, while she herself frustrates him in an entirely different way.

The longer they spend together, the more Ri allows him in, and the closer Shaw comes to learning about her past. But her siblings are restless and afraid, even if they won't admit it, and as Ri begins to fall for Shaw, she starts to wonder if she really wants to go home after all.

Something lurks in the shadows, watching, waiting. A darkness threatens the happiness Ri and Shaw have found in each other and the life they might build together. Ri is getting closer to finding a way home, which will put her family out of danger, but if Ri and Shaw are to have a future in any century, they'll need to find this threat and eliminate it.

Her past has always made her stronger, but adding her current situation to her past trauma seems to be slowly killing her. Naomi "Ni" Johnson is an ordinary girl living in a small town. She has dreams of moving to the city and pursuing her passion for art. However, her life takes an unexpected and terrifying turn when she's kidnapped one evening by a mysterious and dangerous man named Adrian Blackwood. Adrian, a brooding and powerful figure in the criminal underworld, has been watching Ni for weeks. At first, his reasons for kidnapping her seem cold and calculated-he believes she's the key to settling a vendetta with her estranged family, who betrayed him years ago. Ni's family, once involved in shady dealings, has tried to stay out of Adrian's reach, but now he has found a way to get his revenge: by taking their daughter. In Adrian's secluded mansion, surrounded by forests and an icy lake, Ni is trapped. She tries to escape multiple times, but each time Adrian catches her, though he never harms her. Instead, he shows unexpected softness, an emotion she doesn't expect from a criminal like him. Ni soon learns that Adrian's life is far more complicated than it appears on the surface. As time passes, the tension between them grows. Adrian is torn-his plans of revenge are slipping away, replaced by a desire to protect Ni, to keep her close for reasons he cannot admit to himself. Meanwhile, Ni finds herself drawn to Adrian's intensity, his tortured past, and the flickers of vulnerability he shows only around her. She fights her feelings, determined not to fall for the man who has taken her freedom. But slowly, her fear turns to understanding, and understanding turns to love. Yet, danger lurks as Adrian's enemies close in. Ni must decide if she can truly trust Adrian or if their love is doomed from the start. Together, they'll have to face the ghosts of Adrian's past, and Ni will need to confront her own demons if they are to survive-and find happiness in the darkness.

A WitchHunter with a glorious destiny. An assassin desperate for freedom. A stable boy with a dangerous secret. A friend with a hidden family. A brother who craves vengeance. ~~~ The deceit is this: The Hunter has a Lochri daughter. The stable boy has a secret curse. The WitchMaster isn't what he appears. No one knows how or why the Lochri came into being. Some believe it was the work of gods. Others, many, many others, believe they are spawned from something much darker. WitchHunters, employed at Hunter's guilds, live their lives in search of these monsters, these unnatural beings who dare to question the order we have kept in place for centuries. I do not hold the title of WitchHunter, however, for I am something far more sinister. I am Alice, the Demon Raven of Kindleridge, and I'm their Ace. ~~~ They call her the Ace, the assassin owned by Velius Dag, highest ranking WitchMaster in the Kingdom. For six years, the Ace has lived mostly unbothered, but all that will change when Hale Arsen, Velius's adopted son, returns to the Ridge, and the Ace is assigned to protect him, as he will one day become the future WitchMaster. Tensions rise as the two clashing personalities come together time after time in feud, but with the Lochri problem growing ever stronger, and secrets begin to unravel themselves, these two opposing forces will have to realize that working together may be the only way to keep the world from figuring out the truth that could spell disaster for them all. What happens when you realize you might be the bad guy?

Instead of being the renowned beauty that she really is, she must help her sister gain "The Lion" of the Highlands favor, even though the feat seems impossible, for every word and look coming from him shows just how feral the man really is. A deadly Highlander shouldn't be forced to marry-but that's exactly what's happening to Kane "The Lion" Shaw. With a new squire, a leper of a lady living in his keep, and his neighboring highlanders beginning to stir with unease, Kane has a lot on his plate. But a Highlander never surrenders...and ignores the odd feelings his squire stirs inside of him. When Saeran, posing as a squire, is forced to be around "The Lion", the roughest, meanest, most barbarian man she's ever met, she is sure her ruse is hanging by a thread. When he begins to suspect what she really is, she makes the most dangerous decision...and finds that this Highlanders touch makes it harder and harder to deny what is happening between them, even while danger wars around them.
