Some believing his bloodline was tainted. Cursed. Kallik grew up knowing she was different. Often keeping her distance from the rest of her tribe after the incident involving her late mother. It was safer that way. No one would know her secret that way. Which is why after she and her siblings found a boy frozen in the ice, she realized how hard that secret would become. I know, its cliche. But being a mixed-blood bender in the current times, and after almost 100 years of war, all Fire Benders are considered monsters. Even the innocent ones. Makinota is just trying to find her old life. Find her purpose. And most importantly, find who she can really trust. But in the end... aren't we all? (Long chapters and irregular updates. Though, I do update and I will keep going. This book in entirely a fountain of unneeded inspiration I can't put anywhere else, and something I do when I get writers block on everything else.
