Set two years after Red had become the champion of the Indigo League, Seris Nova is sent to Pallet Town by his mother to meet her longtime friend. However, shortly after arriving, he finds out that friend was Red's mother, who has not seen her son in over a year. With his head held high (and some reluctance in the back of his mind), Seris sets out on a journey to find the whereabouts of Red from Kanto region's gym leaders while also encountering many friends and/or obstacles on his way.
