Slipping - A sad Camp Cretaceous oneshot

Ben kept his gaze locked on Darius, trying to ignore the pain of the stinging wounds. He attempted to reach for him once again, his hand covered in blood.
Their hands began to tear apart, leaving only their fingertips in contact before Ben finally slipped from Darius' grasp. Ben was sure that he was going to be sucked into the perilous, unilluminated jungle beneath them.

This one-shot is pretty gory so if you don't like that I advise you not to read this. It takes place on the monorail in season one, and it ends a lot more tragic than the actual episode.
I am in extreme pain so I've gotta make these poor characters feel pain too. :)
