Mackinsy was in love. How could she be anything but? For when he spoke, the sun shined brighter than any summer day. When he looked at her, she flew higher than any broom could ever take the girl. And when he smiled, how could anyone stop her from falling right at his feet, begging for him to let go of her lungs so she could breathe again? Mackinsy was in love.
"Why are you staring at your eggs like you want to snog them?" Fred shot the girl a worried yet teasing glance.
Shaking her head and snapping out of the incidental inner monologue she found herself in, Mackinsy smiled at the boy. Not giving anything her mind was speaking away she replied, "Because I'm in love with them. This yellow pile of heaven has never steered me nor my stomach wrong I'll have you know." Fred shook his head and chuckled going back to eating his breakfast. He didn't give her odd answer a second thought. Mackinsy had always said weird things, especially when revolving around her love of food, Fred learned early on not to question her.
Looking across the Great Hall she met the eyes of the blonde boy who held her heart in his hand. She never intended on falling in love with him, hell, last year she could hardly stand the bloke. When he smiled at her before looking back to the conversation he was having, he hadn't known he'd taken her breath right along with his eyes; away.
A story in which Mackinsy Diggory, Cedric's younger sister, falls in love with a boy. A boy who she was never supposed to even like.
