World War I has barely ended, nations are slowly rebuilding and trying to erase the distressing scars of those dark and grim years. Famine and cold waves are wreaking havoc in the heart of Russia. Elya is one of those war orphans who are trying somehow to survive in these atrocious conditions. Barely nine years old, and his life is filled with the hustle and bustle of selling drugs and other substances in the ruined neighborhoods and enduring the violence from the thugs who lead the small cartel. Every day is a race against time to get to the shelter on time. The cold nights are deadly, far more terrifying than the boss' tantrums when the count isn't there. Survival is his only goal. Little does he know, he'll play a major part in the upcoming World War.
