"The only thing worst than a vivid nightmare, is when it happens while you're awake." James Whannel is a 27 year old blogger. He takes pride in that job. Even though it isn't his main source of income, it's a good coping mechanism, a good escape from reality. James is different. He is able to do what most people can't. He's able to turn his dreams into reality. A skill most people would like to have, but one that Whannel wants nothing to do with. This skill takes action only during the night, when the writer's body is asleep, but his mind, awake. He lies with his eyes wide open, watching his dreams turn into literal living nightmares around him. The worst part? His body remains asleep. Completely still.

The story of bullying and romance and gangs. And abuse. It shows how any life can get out of hand. "My boyfriends father is choking me! Because I won't let him rape me!" Does she give in or not? "My family will be looking for you and me. They will come save me so you better let me go." "Your family isn't your family no more we hear that you have gone different paths is that not true. And before you lie. We have a lie detector here. And if anyone goes looking for you they will see your note that you will be gone for awhile." My fear started to eat at me. The overthrowing urge of vomiting came across my body. Does she get out or is she gone forever.
