Sup my beautiful people. I finally am writing my own book for the first time with the inspiration from After by Anna Todd (aka @imaginator1D). I consider myself to be an amazing fiction writer, more-so science fiction and fantasy because of my big imagination. Anyway I should probably tell you that this book isn’t from the point of view of Katniss and has no sexual relations. I was told by one of my friends that a lot of fanfics has sex and dirty things inside. This doesn’t tho. This is from the point of view of Rue, the girl from district 11 and the storyline is a lot different, plus there will be more and shorter chapters. I will use the 3 books to kind of shape the story a little bit but that’s it. This started as a school project and I hope it gets published lol.

This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Yes, this is so original, isn't it? But, I think mine might be a bit different. Well, as I've been writing my other fanfics (and going to high school myself) I've been thinking of great scenarios that won't work, because the stories aren't present time. So, I decided to be unoriginal for once and write this. Panem High School is a prestigious private school in the Capitol of the country of Panem. It's where all the best, brightest, and richest citizens send their children to school. None of them are as one dimensional as they seem on the surface. This story is written from multiple POVs (at the moment, Katniss, Peeta, Johanna, Cato, Clove, Gale, and Madge), so that's different from all the other "Hunger Games High" stories I've read. There is Clato (just wait for it, it isn't instantly), Gadge, and other ships, so hooray for all of you shippers!
