Paradise: A Disguised Abyss

'Whatever happens, happens for a good reason.'

I guess that's something you can hold onto when your life takes the darkest turn. Like I did.

But that's the least thing to believe onto when you're surrounded by ocean on all the sides. When you're drowning.

When the waters take you in. Filling into your lungs, replacing the air that you're bitterly longing for.

And finally, taking away your vision. The world around you. The life you wouldn't be able to see through.

Tell me would you still believe it's for good? Most people would not. But I did. I did, until the last amount of air left in my lungs was also consumed and the waves swallowed me as a whole.

I 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 believed it's for the best.
