. . . Mavis had no idea who she was, but Lilith did. Her only purpose in the dammed city was to survive, and each day that it passed it felt like a hell of an achievement, her innocent perception of the world slowly slipping away.
Lilith wouldn't have let that happen, though. She would've kept it-which is why she was gone.
Mavis' origins are strange and scattered, much like the thunderstorm that goes on in her head, much like the unexplainable powers she yields. Nothing like Grisha, nothing natural.
It would teach her that only the dead had seen the end of war, and she would be the first walking corpse . . .

A few days after Alina and I escaped the clutches of my brother, the former Ravkan general of the Second Army, Aleksander Kirigan, we parted ways. I went with Kaz Brekker and his gang of thieves, affectionately nicknamed the Crows, back to Ketterdam, while Alina Starkov and her friend, Mal Oretsev, left for other lands beyond the walls of Os Alta. In Ketterdam, I made a name for myself, aiding Kaz and the Crows in all manner of criminal behaviour, forgetting that I was ever the younger sister of the Black Heretic. But I've lost everything I've ever known. I don't know where my mother or my dear friend Genya is - sometimes, this new life is unfamiliar and uncomfortable, especially within the tight, damp spaces of Ketterdam, this sprawling criminal town that seems so big and yet so small. Or within the base of the Crows that I sometimes call home - or the feelings that I seem to feel for Kaz Brekker. Kaz and I still don't understand each other, and I don't think we ever will. Alina and Mal set off across the sea, and from what I heard, they were going in search of the second of Morozova's creatures, the Firebird. Alina hopes that with the help of the Firebird and the Stag as Grisha amplifiers, that she might be able to take down the Shadow Fold for good. I know that my brother, Aleksander Kirigan, did not die that day in the Fold, and that one day he would come to exact his vengeance upon his lost Sun Summoner and all of Ravka. As Kaz prepares to unleash fresh hell on old foes, and as Alina prepares to hopefully end the terror of the Darkling once and for all, I myself am preparing for a war on both sides. A war to protect my newfound friends and family, the Crows, and a war to protect my people, the Grisha.

With eyes so dark revealing no soul. And a smirk so psychotic, like she would raise hell upon Empires. With no recollection of memory of her past, Raven Black finds herself among the Crows, engaging in their criminal way of living. The Crows accept a heavy mission and have to cross the Fold, the prize after all is one million kruge. Due to a massive eruption of never seen force before within the Fold, Raven landed in the hands of General Kirigan and a dark Prophecy haunts her dreams. Between Love and Friendship, Raven is in the middle of finding herself after discovering her unknown and never before seen power and fragments of her past. Her power is so unique and yet overshadowed by the Sun Summoner Alina Starkov that remained the center of attention, until Raven finds herself in a dangerous position and has to make crucial choices and act quick. Between a war of mind and heart, new found homes and families, and painful love, Raven has to find herself and the descent of her Bloodline while attempting to save whatever she holds dear and not be driven into the madness of power. ------------------------------- β€’ Shadow and Bone Fan Fiction based on the Books & Series with a twist of course.
