W.I.Z.A.R.D.

After the White Queen Arkhaam was destroyed, the Black Queen Mariko took control of the Fast World. However, lawlessness and corruption is prevalent, and many rich people who thrived under Arkhaam's reign thought that Mariko's rule was illegitimate, seeing her as a puppet of Candrakar, and they wanted law and order again. And soon, her long lost son, Shikaratobu, and his faithful knights, plotted a coup to take what he saw as his throne, which was very successful, and he would immediately execute Mariko and stole her powers and combined them with his, and he would soon secede from Candrakar, and other worlds would follow, forming the Congregation of Mt. Thanos, and beginning the Great Interdimensional War. It would be a costly war, but after the White King was overthrown, Candrakar emerged victorious, and he went on the run. Until, someone informed him about where the Guardian Leader and her husband lived, and he would immediately track it down, and would kill Wilhelmina and her husband Matt. However, after he tried to kill their son William, his finishing blow rebounded, and destroyed his body, with his soul living on in the Heart of the Fast World. However, his generals are still looming about, and rumors spread about them rallying behind a new leader, and so a new team of Guardians is formed to prevent them from reuniting to what they once were.
