When Nina, a thirty-year-old Muggle from the Netherlands travels to London, she expects to get a ten-a-penny experience that every Potterhead wanted to experience: visiting the studios, The Leaky Cauldron, and perhaps getting the famous sorting hat on your head. What she didn't expect was to find herself in the real wizarding world at the time of Voldemort's return. Follow how Nina took a path she never expected, how her heroes changed, and how she had to adjust her crush on Remus and Sirius when it turns out that they are not charmed by a woman with the Dark Mark - whether it was real or not.
Please try to remember that this is a story I wrote for my own happiness as well as yours, hoping to put a smile on someone's face. Sometimes things happen that you guys don't like, I'm always happy to hear this, but there's no need to be disrespectful about this.
Finally, I am not English, but Dutch. I'll try to keep errors to a minimum, but if you know yourself to be easily annoyed by spelling and grammar mistakes, then this story isn't for you. I have written five chapters of this day (July 13, 2023) and expect to be able to translate them for you soon. I hope you want to follow this journey with me!

"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. But it doesn't take long for Marlene to begin questioning her choices. As the world is falling apart around her, so are her relationships and any certainty that she once had. Except for Sirius; the only certainty she has left in the world. However, war only seems to be threatening to tear them apart. She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time.
