And will it be worth it?

A group of Assassins called Night Raid are rebelling against the Empire, hoping to change it for the better. But the corruption is running deeper in most of the empire, forming extreme distortions that Night Raid can't face themselves. It's time for Joker, Leader of the Phantom Thieves, to return with Mona, this time in a whole new world filled to the brim with distortion and rotten hearts to change in the Metaverse. But will the rebellious trickster be willing to kill his targets like the Assassins can? Or will he succumb in the face of ruin like he's never seen before?

I spend time with them, befriend them, laugh and joke with them, and even strategize with them as we dodge in and out of Palaces, taking hearts where we please. But I never lose sight of the real reason why I'm using them. We get closer and closer, and Ren Amamiya, the leader of the group, peaks my interest. We finally become friends, and suddenly, something changes. I must choose what side to stand on, and whether or not using the Joker and his friends is still my destiny.

Continuing with their school life for the ones still in it. The former 2nd year Phantom Thieves would finish their 3rd year and graduate becoming legal adults entering into college, that's until there are still more targets to have to change the hearts of.
