When Matt and the guys go to Santa Monica, California, to celebrate New Year in 1997, Matt believes that life can't get any sweeter. That is until he meets one of the residents and her friends. Head over heels, they quickly fall in love, but things aren't always built to last, and Matt leaves his newly found girlfriend Hexxa, an English sound engineering student, to go back to Wales. In 2005, Matt's band, Bullet For My Valentine, come back to show America what they're made of, will the lost relationship re-kindle when they meet each other again, or will more trouble stand in their way, more than they originally thought...
