Six teenagers that come from broken households meet each other during a history class project and as they go through their own problems in life they learn family can mean more than blood.
Jamerson (Jay) Kang is an independent kid from a small town. After a last minute move him and his parents make, he becomes anxious to spend his senior year in a new big city. Feeling the pressure from his parents to figure out what to do with his life before graduation, Jay meets a group of people in his history class that makes his life a little more bearable, and maybe even finds love with his new hardworking, friendly, totally hilarious boy best friend.
