So It Goes

This story is heavily influenced by the setting of the show Peaky Blinders and incorporates SOME of the characters. Though, this story is still able to be read, understood, and enjoyed even if you haven't seen the show. It is loosely based around the 1920's era, but is very modernized so it's easier to digest.

This story revolves around:

Evelyn and her journey in a small European town. She has made close friends with some very successful "business men", that eventually rope her into working for them. Evelyn is an educated woman for the time, but she tends to find herself in reckless situations in order to make ends-meet. As she attempts to climb the ladder of success in a business world ran by men, her patience is tested. She struggles to create new relationships as she works closely along with a man from her past. She is constantly pushed to her breaking point and makes a habit of indulging in drugs, anger, lust, and often tries to find the ability to love along the way.
