Sonic is born sickly/Terminally ill in this AU, doctors can't exactly figure out why. He's perceived as weak by everybody around him and becomes a regular target for all kinds of harassment at his high school and in his own household. He somehow discovers that he's developed super speed that doesn't take up a lot of the little energy he has and uses it to his advantage, and it eventually changes him.
    
    (I never know how to put covers on my stories that don't look cringe, so please remember that even if the covers of the stories are sorta goofy, I take the stories SERIOUSLY, don't be fooled by the cover.)
