Maybe it was the shock of it all, or your dissociative mind, but when you see the mouth guard, and the goggles, all you can do is say "Hey Toby." In a raspy and grading voice, gently resting your head into his shoulder. He pauses for a moment, and twitches hard. "H-Hi (y/n)."
