Nyx Mattis was the only son of King Ezra Mattis, king of the last intact vampire clan. The king with his lofty aspirations and affinity for cruelty sent his Kingsmen on an impossible mission to find his son a bride from one of the lost clans. To everyone's surprise, they did, but no one could have been prepared for her.

This is the first of my revised stories. I remember writing the original story when I was 13 on a family road trip. Some of the character names have been changed, but hopefully the story stays true to the original in spirit.
