Akuryo; It might as well have been a name to him. Well, now it was, anyway.
All his life, Ren has known one simple fact: As a shapeshifter, he would never be welcome in the world, never seen as anything more than vermin at best, and hellspawn at worst.
But when his attempt to do the right thing lands him in more trouble than he realized, he decides that what seemed like a fatal mistake might be his last chance to leave everything behind. To start over.
Simple rules are set: Trust no one, stay alone, and stay alive. Then, once the year is over, live a quiet life as a normal human.
But as friendships form left and right, fears demand to be faced, and the world unravels at its seams, there's only one thing that's clear:
Ren thought he knew by now what fate had up its sleeve, but it seems it's decided instead that it won't be that simple.

Akihiro Saiyonji. A young man born into a rich and powerful family and also known as a famous teen model of Japan as well as the heir to a trillion-dollar conglomerate. One would think Akihiro would have it all, but in fact it's untrue. One day, Akihiro decided to move out of his family's home and head to Tokyo where he would enroll himself into a school known as Shujin Academy in hopes to find a life of normalcy. But what he found instead was anything from normal. In his new school, Akihiro would still be followed by his family's name as well as supernatural occurrences. But despite it all, he would find solace in the good friends he made while also enacting his duty as vigilante known as... "Geats". --------------------------------------- Reminders: 1. Of Phantoms and Thieves
The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker, AKA, Ren Amamiya, is not in a good mood. It's been a year after the events that happened in Persona 5, and trouble has struck. Ren's parents have been arguing, and now they are getting a divorce. To find his own peace, Ren decides to return to Cafe Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. But things seem to get worse, as he gets in arguments and finally decides to be a shut-in. The Phantom Thieves try to reach out to him, but nothing seems to be able to get to Ren. With a little bit of help, the group of teens manage to access the Metaverse that has reformed once again. And to their surprise, they discover a palace. A palace who the ruler is none other than Ren Amamiya himself. I don't own Persona 5 or any of its characters. Artwork displayed is not mine unless otherwise stated. (In this A.U, the events of Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble never occured. This is because I started writing this before it was even released, and I don't want to go back and rewrite this whole story. Akira is a boy with issues. He can't read, or write, or anything like that. All the 15 year old boy knows how to do is fight, talk, eat, sleep, and walk. Of course, he has common sense and can do normal stuff and act like a person. But he never went to school, never got a proper education since his dad died. Akira is also a vigilante, he's been one for a while. He can take down villains that heroes cannot. What happens when problems start to arise and a hero tries to save the boy? Akira knows that he can't trust anyone. So at first he's skeptical and scared. But when he finally trusts this hero, how will everything play out? Will Akira continue to fight by himself? She's an incredible achievement, who wants to learn more about the human heart, but... Where did she come from? And can the Phantom Thieves help her understand what it means to have true strength of heart? Warning: The source material for this story contains some subject matters I am not accustomed to writing. Persona 5: The Alternate Phantom Thief
The world of Persona 5 is different. No Akira Kurusu/Ren Amamiya = No Joker. So what will fate do to cover for this issue? Meet Takuma Shirase, the delinquent transfer student in this new retelling of Persona 5. From new or familiar characters, to the new perspective that this protagonist takes on this woorld that he lives in, join his journey as he conquers Palace for Palace with his version of the Phantom Thieves. (P.S. Corny description, I know. I'll try to make the quality as good as possible, but of course for those who read my 70 chapters of Bleach: New Generation, you know its not guaranteed, haha. My Key Item (Joker X Futaba) Persona 5 Royal
After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man. Takuto Maruki has decided that people cannot be allowed to think for themselves, and that they should never have to feel pain, well, unless you interfere with his plan. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!!
