Two young souls, two very different worlds, one boy consumed by the darkness that inhabits him and another one who brings his light to him, so close to each other but so far at the same time, but linked by destiny. Ciel Phantomhive sold his soul to the devil, abandoning himself to the cruelty of this grim world, while his soul slowly sinks in the deepest darkness of solitude and loneliness. McMillan doesn't see the darkness consuming his friend, he only sees the shining light of a young exceptional genius, standing so far from the ordinary people that he fears he will not be able to bring anything to his bright light. Is Ciel allowed to enjoy the simple happiness of an innocent romance in an adult and complexe world, haunted by his demons? Is McMillan worthy enough of the attention of someone he considers so highly? How could he become good enough? Around them lurk two shadows that secretly pull the threads of their destiny, what awaits them at the end of the way they're pulling them on? This story takes immediatley place after the events of the Weston College. Here, Ciel didn't throw the letter sent by McMillan after he left. This story narrates how their friendship would have evolved if they had kept in touch, with some surprises along the way. ~~~~ The cover was made by my good friend @reiffurt-arts on Instagram, she posts photographs!
