Taken away from his family at a young age, Burt was sent away to a lab and experimented on. During all these tests, he slowly lost his sanity along with his human traits. He began to eat human flesh and indulged more with his animalistic side. However, sometimes bits of his human side would seep through and he would get painful headaches.
