A shy, social outcast by the name of Astrid Elizabeth Walters is not very well liked among her peers in a small town in New Jersey. There her and her two parents live a picture perfect life. But that's the least of her problems at the moment. She goes home to find her whole world turned upside down in an instant, and there is one person that can tell her why these things happened. A mysterious man a couple years older than her, who says she is safe with him. But can she trust him?

Astrid was preparing for a strong storm one day and then the next she was in completely unknown waters and taken prisoner by an attractive stranger. Not knowing what kind of weird dream she was having she throws herself into the water only to find that she's not in a dream or a stimulation. She climbs onto her boat quickly before she notices another ship heading toward them. She can't get the pirates attention and before she knows it there is another stranger on her ship. Not knowing how to help herself, she continues to follow the pirates orders until she gets a better understanding of what's going on and how she's going to handle this situation. The only question she continues to ask herself is if she's going to live through this as two attractive strangers continue to ignore her as they fight over her and her boat.
