I know this is gonna sound weird, but one day, my whole world changed. You see, cards started dropping from the sky, coming down like rain. At first we didn't know where they were coming from or who sent them. We only knew they were more than just ordinary playing cards. And it was happening all around the world: in the north; and the south. They landed everywhere. Together with my new online friends from around the world, we invented a wicked new game we called 'Bakugan'. That's when the power of the cards was revealed: Each one held its own battling beast which came to life when you threw it down. The battles were intense, and if you chose the wrong card, you lost it AND the beast inside. But that's only half the story: another even bigger battle was taking place in a parallel universe called Vestroia. My name is Dan, and together with my friends y/n, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Mr. Hotshot himself Shun and Alice, we are the Bakugan Battle Brawlers!

What if one of Marucho's team members all the way back during the events of the 2nd half of New Vestoria works in a fail safe without his knowledge in case of evil infiltrating Bakugan Interspace like the Gundalians or crazy things like Mechtogan appearing? When the explosion from Dan and Ren's unknowingly activates the previously unknown fail safe, no one - not even Barodius - is ready for what happens next. Now, a phantom is loose in Interspace who appears and disappears at will, winning brawls with his Bakugan and taking a special interest in two girls. Alice Gehabich and Soon Blackmore. Bakugan Mechtanium Surge: Shun's Story
It has been one year since Dan Kuso, Earth's strongest brawler, was defeated. His loss wasn't at the hands of Masquerade or any familiar foe, but by a mysterious figure clad in golden armor, known only as Magmel, and his terrifying Darkus Bakugan, Razenoid. Their power was overwhelming-Dan and Drago vanished that day, their fate unknown. Magmel and Razenoid soon abandoned Earth, deeming the planet too weak, not even worth conquering. Instead, they turned their attention toward the wider universe, spreading chaos and domination beyond Earth's reach. In Dan's absence, Shun Kazami stepped up as the new leader of the Brawlers, taking the top rank in the newly rebuilt Bakugan Interspace. Beside him, Marucho, now second in rank, balances his duties as both a tech genius and heir to his family empire. Together, they continue training relentlessly with fellow Brawlers-Jake, Runo, Julie, Fabia, and Alice-keeping their skills sharp while searching for clues that might lead them to Dan and Drago. But a year of silence weighs heavily on them all. Each member battles not only in the arena but also against the creeping doubts in their hearts. Is Dan still alive? Can he be saved? Or has the universe already forgotten one of its greatest defenders? As the shadow of Magmel's conquest spreads through the stars, Earth stands on the brink of being left behind. But the Brawlers refuse to surrender. Because until they see a body, Dan is still out there somewhere-and they will find him. ---Complete

π²πππππππππ (Bakugan Fanfic)
Chimerical : merely imaginary; fanciful. ββ .β¦ ββ .β¦ ββ .β¦ ββ .β¦ ββ .β¦ A lot of people would think that a bunch of cards raining down from the sky would be considered bad luck or some kind of sign that the end of the world was near. For Maeve Miki, it was the best day of her life. After all, that's when Bakugan entered her life and she got her best friend in the world, a darkus wyvern she named sphira, yes it was a pun based off the fact that she was a sphere like 99% of the day, so what?, and a group of friends she thought that finally wouldn't piss her off into ghosting them. Spoilers... she did. But it was fine because she had the skills, an undeniable winning streak that put her within the top 10 brawlers across the globe, a perfect Bakugan partner, and no longer had to bite her tongue because Dan said something stupid but she couldn't say it out loud since that would make her "too mean" whatever that meant. But then... he showed up at her front door. And now that end of the world was actually a real possibility.
