Heloise grows up in a family of traders, traveling across the six big territories of Aranthia. Every year for the summer solstice she meets up with her friends in the capital to celebrate. But this year their lives take a dramatic turn, when they become part of an ancient prophecy that binds Heloise's life to that of Prince Damien. As a long-forgotten evil awakens in the north, Heloise and her friends are tasked with saving their kingdom. Together they must gather the six elemental gems and try to fight the ancient evil, lurking in the north. As they face dangerous obstacles and make difficult choices to save their land, they learn the true meaning of friendship, sacrifice, and bravery. Through it all Heloise and Damien find themselves becoming closer, although they pretend that they can't stand each other. But can their love prevail in times of darkness, when even the brightest lights can't show the way?

𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙄𝙄𝙄 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 The bad news: Phoenix has turned into gold. The good news: so have their enemies. It's also possible that apart from their group of three, so have the rest of the human kind. Meanwhile, in the cottage, life more or less goes on. As Najwa mourns both her mom and the loss of her closest friend, Rain can't tear his gaze away from the golden remnants of their enemies and Rio does their best to keep everyone fed and healthy. Aspen isn't much help, not when he is holed up in his room, terrified of the power he holds. It's been said that you only realize the importance of someone when they're gone. Whether or not that is true, Aspen would give his life to get Phoenix back. There's guilt, undoubtedly, but also the fact that he has a huge crush on him. They have never even had the chance to kiss or confess their feelings, and that's just tragic. But hey, there's always a chance for a long-distance relationship. As you might imagine, the connection from one world to another isn't ideal. But if they can make it work, there's a chance to return Phoenix and the rest of the infected back to life.
