Her foot hit something that almost caused her to fly face forwards in the sand, but she caught herself on a piece of wood from an old, washed-up ship. She looked down to see a clear glass bottle with some paper inside.
Cybele quickly grabbed it up and opened the cork. Then, she tilted the bottle to let the paper drop into her icy palm. 
She opened it up with shaky hands.

"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. His hair was stuck on his forehead and the smudged eyeliner created a trace of dark lining on his face, making him look hauntingly. The man gazed at my form in amazement and wonder before they captured mine again, sending an icy cold sensation coursing through my vein, making me shiver. He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"

There was something so inexplicable about this beautiful creature before him. The gills on his neck pulsated with the heaving of his chest. His very pink hair- pastel- trailed in the water around his face and when Changbin looked down- The most beautiful pink tail he had ever laid eyes on. Even In the darkness of the water, the scales glinted and shimmered with hues of pinks and even gold. So, so rare because mermaids and mermen had only ever adorned blue scales to blend with the habitat around them. And maybe Changbin really was hallucinating. Maybe this was just the grim reaper- a really ethereal grim reaper- dragging him down to hell instead of to the surface of the water. Before Changbin could open his mouth and ask 'am I going to die?' His lungs finally gave out on him as he breathed, and inhaled the salty sea around him. Or Changbin is saved by a beautiful merman- and years later, he can return the favor when he finds him injured and unconscious at port.

He takes them to the beach, but he can't leave them. He drinks a magic potion and a painful transformation begins. He passed out of the pain. A few days later he wakes up in a big house by the sea. He has no idea where he is. A man enter the room and speaks calmly to him. He explains that he found him unconscious on the beach. He's grateful that Adam saved his niece and nephew. Adam tells him that he has nowhere to go. Eric lets him stay and he helps him get used to his legs. But every step he takes, feels like walking on knives. Adam is fascinated of the human world. But he miss the sea and his home. He tries everything, but he can't get his tail back. He goes to the beach and a woman approach him. She tells him that he has to kill Eric to get his tail back. But if he kisses him before the last sunset, he will remain human. Adam faces a difficult decision. He has never loved anyone, he doesn't even know what love is.
