Bruce Wayne has finally returned home from his wildly publicised world tour. Maria Magdalena Cortez, named after an often shamed, but powerful woman, is sent by her mother to greet Bruce after fifteen years apart. When Bruce's assistant turns Maria away, saying that she could not possibly lead a company. she vows she will never again by humiliated. After a chance encounter in Paris, at a charity event, the two reconnect. But will Bruce's reputation, Maria's scheming, and both of there secrets tear them apart? Will they chose love, or will they chose power?
