But when something happens one night to were Matilda won't leave Anna alone anymore for long periods of time, Matilda is forced to let Anna go stay with her coworker, Jessica, for the summer when Matilda gets transferred to NYC for her job. Anna is happy, very happy, until she finds out about Alexander Jones, Jessica's 19 year old, annoying, egotistical, loner, lady killer son. 

Alex just graduated from Trinity Water Boarding School, he's staying with his mother until school starts up in the fall. Alex is a loner, but sometimes he Isn't completely alone. He is Also trouble, big trouble, and Anna has to deal with it for a whole summer.

Jessica Isn't around much, she has work 24/7. So, that leaves Anna and Alex Alone in the house all the time for the whole summer.
