Two years before the events of Heavy Rain, Norman is a prominent profiler at the FBI. He has solved multiple cases and made a name for himself as one of the most intelligent profilers in the FBI. However, when his partner dies unexpectedly of a suspected overdose, Norman suspects foul play. He races to find out what really happened to his partner, and on the way, grapples with his view of authority, his emotions, and his own mortality.
