Barrington Falls, a very peculiar town, that has 1/4 of the town with people that have different elements of magic. You can have water, fire, earth, air, or rarely- spirit. Elisabeth Reviere is a fire user. Though each element will give sometimes light or dark punishments if you do a very bad thing with your power. Elisabeth did something worse than anything in the rule book that she didn't even know she did. Her punishment is to be burned forever. If anyone touches her, they will burn to ashes. Her worse weakness is water. Now she's 16 and finds love with Tyler Sanders, a normal human. Will she hurt him? The one she loves? And if she does, will she be alone forever? Sawyer is among the most powerful of all the kids at the place. The leader, who is also her abusive, selfish father, sends her to a city to seek this mysterious source of magic that he has been trying to find for years. He claims he's tried to seek it himself in the same city, but has never found it. While Sawyer is trying to find it, instead, she finds Eli. Eli and Sawyer tell a lot about themselves to each other. Sawyer then finds out, there's a lot more to Eli than she thought when she discovers his psychic abilities... she is extremely tempted to do multiple risks that she's never thought she'd be able to do. It's been five years since Kai's life was completely turned upside down, but he is extremely grateful for the things that have happened. The deaths not included, things have changed for the better. Kai feels that if those men and Thorn hadn't showed up at his home, Abby wouldn't be his girlfriend, Chase wouldn't be his best friend, Shintaro wouldn't be an amazing "therapist" (as Chase calls it) to Kai, Linda wouldn't be like a mother to him, Gabriel wouldn't be the funny-in-his-own-antisocial-way friend (he had his own home in the town, so he often visited), and Kai wouldn't be as close to his father has he is now. Kai is actually enjoying his new life in this strange town. The village is "ruled" by a young woman named Ruby, and everyone there adores her for being such a great leader. Kai has only met her once or twice, but she seems very nice. But there is something prickling at the back of Kai's mind, and it unsettles him greatly. Ever since Moon vanished after killing Luke, she hasn't been spotted anywhere. Kai often wonders if she is somewhere far from where they are now, planning her next attack. When a series of strange events start happening around the town, Kai is certain that Moon is back and playing her game with them. In a way, he is right. But there are many things that he is also wrong about. During the midst of it all, Shintaro gets captured, sending Kai down a path of despair and hopelessness. He feels responsible for getting Shintaro back, but he doesn't know what he's up against. Thankfully, his friends don't let him do it by himself. As always, they have his back. And soon, new friends are there behind him, too. The group finds that Moon is behind all of this, but she isn't doing it for herself. She has Shintaro for a certain reason, and the friends are soon to find out what is at stake. The lives of others, including loved ones.

Dawn Davis is an eighteen-year-old girl. Or, at least, she was, until the horrible horse accident that lead to her death. Now, she's a three-hundred-eighteen-year-old (sort of) ghost that's not quite dead (or a ghost). She's stayed the small town of Blue Falls in North Carolina. It's so small, it's unheard of. Dawn is a spiritual being called an In-between. She is something that isn't quite a dead, and not quite alive. In-betweens are physically bound to the city they died in, and usually stay in their old homes. As an In-between, she is never heard or seen. At least, she hadn't been until a certain, special, sixteen-year-old Artemis Alexander finds her lurking around. Artemis and his big family just moved into the house on the grounds where Dawn used to live. Dawn needs to find out why this Artemis boy can see her. It's never happened in the three hundred years she'd been (not quite) dead. Artemis is your regular kid of science, the one you barely see in the background, and he is far from superstitious. Artemis doesn't believe in anything science does not explain. So how do you think he feels when he begins to see people that glow but aren't quite there? Or how about one that's not quite dead?

So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more? Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them. They need Winter to fight with it but how can they do so if they don't know Winter? (It isn't fully edited.
