The world had gone to shit, that was probably the least complicated way to say it. The dead were roaming the streets freely, and they were targeting humans, the living and breathing kind. In the midst of the apocalypse, only the most worthy could survive, and Melody May Smith was probably the most worthy person in the world.
She was just about the age of 12 at the start, and she had lost almost everyone around her. She was alone.
As she braves the apocalypse she ends up falling for someone. And her big question is if she will be able to save everyone she loves. Most importantly her only love, Carl.
Will she be able to survive and save her family? Or will everything around her crash and burn with no possible solution?
