"No way. What would I draw?"
Lisa sat up so she was resting on her elbows.
"You would draw me ?"
Jennie opened her eyes to meet her best friends gaze.
"Lisa, I'm always drawing you. You just have to take a proper look"

The night Seoul crowned its newest fashion queen was also the night two hearts broke without warning. Inside the penthouse suite of K-House, the city glittered beneath Jennie Kim's heels. her smile precise - everything about her immaculate except the tremor in her voice when she whispered, "Tell me it's not true." Lisa didn't answer. She stood by the window, shoulders soaked from the rain, eyes carrying a kind of silence that begged to be believed. "It wasn't what you think," she said finally, low and breaking. "Jennie, please-" "Don't." Jennie's voice cut through the room like a blade. "You think I'll stand here and pretend you didn't lie to me? That you didn't use me to get ahead?" Lisa's jaw clenched. "You really think so little of me." "I think exactly what you showed me." Jennie's words were cruel, but her fingers trembled as they gripped the wine glass. "You disappeared in the middle of my show, Lisa. You knew how much tonight meant. And you were with her." Lisa stepped forward. "She's a client, Jennie! I told you-" "Enough!" The glass shattered against the floor. Wine bled into the marble like spilled blood. Lisa froze. For a heartbeat, there was only the sound of rain and Jennie's ragged breathing. Then came the whisper, soft but fatal: "Leave. Tonight. I don't want to see you again." Lisa's throat closed. "You don't mean that." Jennie met her eyes - the same eyes she'd once kissed beneath studio lights, the same eyes she used to call home - and said it anyway. "I do." For a moment, neither moved. Then Lisa picked up her coat, silent tears caught in the reflection of the window, and walked toward the door. She stopped once, hand on the handle. "If I leave now," she said, "I won't come back."
