Hold your head high, take a deep breathe and sigh

The choices we make in life can make or break us. However, some people make choices out of selfish reasons; not knowing their actions at the present time will have repercussions in the future. We are told not to worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow is not promised. That could be very well true. However, what if tomorrow is promised; how would you reexamine yesterday? What would you do differently today? How would you prepare for tomorrow? We are told to live for today, however, the question is-how many people live for "today?" If you are living for "today" at the end of the day, could you say you took care of all of your responsibilities? Each day has a purpose; each day creates a memory, and each day should be precious. Ask yourself-did you put your best foot forward? Or did you point fingers at everyone else instead of focusing on what you need to improve? The important question is: at the end of each day, are you satisfied with the decisions you've made? Dear Fathers of the Fatherless Children: Do you know your sons and daughters are AMAZING? They are full of life and they are truly a blessing. Your sons and daughters need you in their lives. Fathers of the fatherless children, your sons and daughters crave your presence and your support. They want you in their lives more than you will ever know. Fathers of the fatherless children, open your eyes and know your presence is very critical. Be your son's hero and let him know he can conquer the world. Be your daughter's first knight in shining armor. Be a part of your son's and daughter's success instead of their pain

Noah was a regular kid until he was thirteen and came down with an Illness none of the doctors could figure out. What everyone thought was a simple virus quickly turned into much more when he could no longer walk, talk, or move a single muscle in his body. Eventually they figured out that he had suffered a stroke deep in his brain. What they didn't know was what caused a stroke in a perfectly healthy kid. His parents were told the damage was done and his condition would never improve. The doctors said he was not aware of anything and would require full care for the rest of his life. What they didn't know was that he was aware. He could see and hear everything he just had no way of telling them. Now, years later Noah lives in a long term care facility that takes care of stroke victims and people with brain injuries. His day to day life is far from exciting. Aside from the daily soap opera of hearing about the staffs home lives, he doesn't get much entertainment. Things start to get a little more interesting when a new nurse comes in and questions his awareness. She sees what the others don't and tries to find a way to communicate with him. Just as she starts to give Noah hope, his family starts to lose theirs. Will she be able to convince them he's really in there before they decide to give up on him all together?

Life, that's the funny thing about it. We always wanted things to go the way that we imagined it too, but of course plans just always have to change. What if we could've thought about how we wanted our lives to go from in the womb? Wouldn't that make everything so much better? What if we could've created our husbands/wives for ourselves, would that make us a God/Deity? Maybe, just maybe. We were all just living our truths and we needed people to come into our lives to shine the light where we always played blind to. This was about to be the reality of everything that we tried so hard to envisioned for ourselves. Truths are about to be tested, faith was about to be questioned and most importantly Love was about to be granted.

When you're little you're surrounded by people that you're supposed to trust and feel safe with. The people God gave you are supposed to protect and nourish you, they're supposed to encourage positive growth, teach you right from wrong. So where along the lines, does an urge so sinister come into the mix? How are you taught to handle dealing with these types of situations, that most people don't have to face in their lifetime? How can anyone then stand by, defending these acts created against an innocent child? Feeling ostracized by every family member or person they have ever had to tell their truth to, some just to defend the monster? How can you then justify this? Love is love right? No matter the cost, right? How about falling in love with someone so manipulative, so deceitful, so evil and cruel, a cold hard liar. Claiming they are a child of God yet disguised as the Devil himself wreaking havoc, trauma and so much hurt and pain on innocent beings? || A True Story || - My Tower Hill @Home Time Capsule Sometimes bad things happen in our world, but it is inevitable. Everything happens for a reason. It is simply a balance of the dichotomy: good and bad. That is how our lives work; most of the time, no one has a choice. We have to learn how to cope and deal with it. However, bad things always makes us stronger because we learn something after it is all over. Plus, we will not make the same mistake again. We like to believe that we are in control as humans, but no one has real control, ever. However, we do have hope that provides us with a life of purpose and direction. It is what shapes our humanity as a whole. This true story will be filled with my experiences, advice, and thank you's, relating to Tower Hill @Home and everyday life during COVID-19. As a former student-athlete, I battled a lot of adversity and had a lot of high moments. Throughout my journey, I've learned a lot of things from observing others and listening to mentors. At twenty-four, who really is supposed to have it all figured out? This is my personal story of some of my time as a student-athlete, my personal battles, and my greatest highs. This story also details ways on how to deal with frustration, adding the right people to your circle and removing the wrong ones, relationships, and making a difference. This story is just an average man giving you, the reader, average advice and teaching you how to be a "mindful superstar."
