Some time ago, I decided to write a novel about a hapless singer who was granted the chance wipe 10 songs from history and claim them as his own. They only downside was that he would have to face the consequences of the lyrics of the songs he chose.
The idea was you could wander in anywhere and it would all come together. It didn't work. I wrote the intro and a few stand alone stories that had no way of being crowbarred into the attempted novel. One of them was 'Waterloo Sunset' this is another.

Sometimes my personal favourite. A luckless singer would be actor in NYC in 1955 stumbles across the love of his life. This is their joyous life together, or is it?
