Sally is a young girl in the middle of a brutal war between the Darks and the Lights. She helps out at a circus, one of the many attempts to bring the Darks and the Lights back together. One fateful event after the death of her mother leads her to a recruiter for the Darks, who convinces her to join the war. She however doesn't want to fight, but bring peace. Five years later, she returns to her brother, the only family she has left and finds that things have become much worse, the Darks now taking over much of the land. Along with all of that, she realizes something has changed about her brother... but it's a matter of how much he changed... and what he would do with his newfound power.
