Images flashed before my eyes.
The city before me flickered, and I saw it in flames.
And at the center of it all, me. A murderous super-human, just like the X-men.
I sank to the ground, consumed by thoughts. And I banished the picture of flames from my mind, and with it, the fantasy of being free from myself.
Forget the X-men.
Like they'd said.
I was the x.
The unknown factor.
Dangerous. Lethal. Unpredictable.
I had a mission.
Get into the city, undetected. Get supplies. Get information. Get out.

Wolverine's Feral Flame

31 parts Complete Mature

I sat down under the shade of the tree, Malyshka laying down next to me, a small smile forming on my lips as she let out a small huff of air through her nose. The sound of footsteps advancing toward me caused me to look up, seeing Logan, who sat down next to me. "How are you liking it here?" He asked, pulling out a cigar "It still feels weird" I replied honestly, leaning back against the trunk of the tree "the Professor offered me a job. Turns out some kids wanted to learn how to cook, said I'd think about it" "You're staying" he said "might as well do something to keep yourself occupied" "Yeah" I replied with a small shrug Plucking the cigar from his hand, I snapped my fingers, causing a small fire to spark on my index finger, putting the cigar in my mouth and lighting it, taking a few puffs and blowing the smoke out. I took another puff, handing it back to him and blowing the smoke out, letting the fire spread on my hand, watching the blue flames dance. Another sigh emitted from me, wiggling my fingers a bit, "Have you figured out a name for yourself?" He asked curiously "I think I got one" I replied with a small smile "Which is?" He prodded ". . . Genesis" I said softly, closing my fist and diminishing my flame . . . . . I own nothing from Marvel, only my own stuff. Thanks for reading! Ranked #1 in Wolverine 5/25/18
