Curiosity is not a sin, but we should excercise caution with our curiosity. - Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Angels are seen as the messengers of Heaven and the soldiers against the forces of Hell. Angels as one of the judges of Heaven are not impartial, and neither can they feel humanity's pains. But what happens when curiosity gets the best of an angel?

In this story, Louis, a young angel, goes down to Earth to experience humanity in the most realistic of ways. Dumped to Earth faster than the time he took to make up his mind about his curiosity, he finds himself fascinated with the red-haired Megan; tall, smart and physically flawless, she is everybody's idea of perfection along with her brother, Matthew. But someone is against Louis's ideas of experiencing love, let alone humanity in itself: Emile, Louis's best friend. Green-eyed and wise due to experiences from a painful past, he accompanies Louis to Earth and together they live through all of Louis's experiences to satisfy his overbearing wonder about human life. However, with only six months to be here and an angelhood to take care of, will his time be enough? Or was it all simply a folly his mind convinced him to make? A sequel to the wartime story Painfully Green, this story explores love, curiosity, human imperfection and the impossibly ubiquitous rule of life on sacrifice and happiness. Immortality does not save anyone from regret, even when you're not supposed to feel anything at all.

Lavender is in love with Yuan, the perfect guy--kind, sweet, charming, and a musician like her. The problem? He's not real. He only exists in her dreams. *** Lavender Laxamana can't sing or play the guitar in front of anyone anymore. She hides in her dreams where she can perform and play music to her heart's desire with Yuan. Lavender has already accepted that the man she loves is just a figment of her imagination, but when she crosses paths with Aki, a starting artist who goes by the name of Musikero and looks and sounds like Yuan, Lavender is hopeful they can finally be together in real life. But reality slaps her in the face when she finds out Aki is the exact opposite of Yuan, and he loathes her. While Lavender struggles to find the connection between Yuan and Aki, can she finally find the courage to stop escaping from reality--no matter that Aki may be in love with another woman? And can she finally face the rhythm and beats of her heart and pursue her passion again? How far will she go--or not go--for her dreams? DISCLAIMER: This story is written in Taglish.
