Meet Goose, a scrappy and resilient stray mutt with a heart filled with determination. It all begins at the pet shelter, where Goose finds himself alongside an alliance of companions. After a terrifying disaster at the shelter, Goose and the other pets venture forth, braving the perils of a decaying world infested with undead pets. In their fight for survival, Goose forms a relationship with a certain someone. Goose's own path towards redemption unfolds, as he discovers that courage, sacrifice, and the power of second chances can change the course of their destiny.
