This is a reimagined version of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, with you as the main character alongside Simon. Some dialogue and scenes are adapted from the original film and belong to their respective creators. Please note that there will be mature content in later chapters, though not right away. I'm a huge fan of Dungeons & Dragons and love playing the game. This story is my personal take on a movie I deeply enjoy, and I wanted to bring it to life in a new way. It's only my second book-my first was unpublished because I felt it didn't reflect my current writing style-but I'm learning and growing with every story I write.

I know the main character Celeste may come across as mean and as a comment mentioned 'annoying' this book will go through editing. But I'd you choose to still read then fantastic! First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
