In an alternate universe where the fabric of society is knit together by people presenting as one of three categories, alpha, beta, or omega, the five members of One Direction, three alphas and two omegas, navigate the world together.
The only problem is, one of the omegas is currently posing as a beta and the rest of the boys don't know it.
Within the challenging landscape of fame, the band's unity strengthens as they begin to form a pack bond. As their success soars, Louis, the hidden omega, must conceal his true identity, playing the role of a beta to persevere the pack's image.
That is, until one fated night, events unfold that lead to true identity being exposed, first to his bandmates, and then the rest of the world. Join the pack as they navigate fame, love, and the unbreakable ties that bind them together.
Disclaimer: This fic is 100% AU and will completely ignore One Direction's actual timeline of success/events, including Zayn's departure. I do this for my own sake as I don't wish to fact check anything and dismissing the real timeline works for the sake of the storyline I have in mind.

**An Omegaverse Reverse-Harem BTS Fanfiction** Alpha bands are a popular entertainment schtick. Handsome, powerful, talented, they sell the fantasy of availability as much as they sell their music. After all, everyone knows a pack is incomplete if it only contains alphas. Omegas and betas dream of being a part of the balance. Unfortunately, this is more than just marketing. A band needs to function as a pack, but with only alpha members, bickering and infighting are almost unavoidable. Beta managers help, but there is another common tactic that helps the talent maintain equilibrium: house omegas, hired companions who stand in for the missing pieces. BTS is a wildly popular seven-member alpha band. They are known to be particularly kind and humble, but they are still struggling to keep house omegas for their pack. None of the prior candidates have wanted to leave, but one member has protested them all. What is the missing ingredient in their otherwise winning recipe? Calling Out (For Somebody To Hold)
"That's not the point! The point is that I'm being married off to some unknown child and there's nothing I can do to stop it." Liam rolled his eyes and sent an exasperated look Zayn's way. "He's three years younger than you, that's hardly a child. Now, if it's the age thing that bothers you, you won't have to bond for another nine years, at least. Your parents will only start getting on your case after you become Alpha." Zayn snorted. "As if he's gonna wait that long. Lou's pretty much the definition of his perfect omega. They'll be Mated way before the Ceremony." Harry threw a hard punch to the bag, splitting it at the seams and letting the sand trickle to the floor while Liam groaned in annoyance. "You lot need to stop assuming you know everything about me. I get to choose who the perfect omega for me is, and it's not gonna be him!" [or, the one where they're definitely not perfect for each other, and the only reason they even mildly get along is for work purposes. It's all perfectly platonic and for convenience's sake, really.] Word Count: 12.7k words Estimated Readin Time: 50 minutes Rated M cause there's some mentions of sex (but no actual sex) You can also read it on AO3 at liberty_barnesComplete
