When Mates are not predestined by the Moon Goddess, mating is seen only as a way to continue Werewolf bloodlines or produce heirs. Most Wolfen - Female Werewolves - flee their packs and the only world they've known to the human world in order to preserve their freedom. 

But when these Wolfen's bodies are found mutilated and maimed - dead, warrior Calypso Dawson vows to find the one who is killing her kind. Numbers are already dwindling and Werewolves are facing a very bleak possibility of extinction. 

Calypso has a way to change her world for the better. However, when a deep-rooted hatred has been imbedded into male Werewolves regarding Wolfen for as long as anyone can remember, how does one abolish hatred? Even when they find themselves as a mate to the powerful and peculiar Alpha Demetrios.   

As Calypso fights the battling darkness inside her head, she's going to have to prepare for a real battle where the enemy is not clear, the lines in the sand are not straight, and those she viewed as the enemies are perhaps, not even the enemy at all.
