Beneath The Surface

Astaroth. The cursed name given to a little girl whose birth is everything wrong for the people around her. According to them, nothing about her is right. She's the very embodiment of a flawed subject. Someone who didn't deserve to live. And that's what she grew up believing. Until the girl meets three other individuals who are just as troubled as her. It seems like fate brought all four of them together. As lies and misunderstandings continue to haunt them, they gradually spiral out of control. Amidst each of their journeys through pain and suffering, a darker enemy hides beneath the surface. One that's just as potent as their own inner demons. However, even through all that chaos, there may still be a silver lining to it. It reveals the truth. That maybe the thing they have been searching for has always been right beside them, waiting to be discovered.
